Associate ProfessorI am conducting research with the aim of developing innovative processes that transform underutilized waste materials and natural products into functional substances. This involves modifying crystal and surface structures to release useful substances or generate new functionalities. In addition, through the evaluation of these newly obtained materials, I am exploring ways to create novel materials and innovative approaches to material science.

Associate ProfessorI am conducting research on the mechanisms and evolutionary processes of cognitive abilities by studying the similarities and differences between human cognitive abilities and those of non-human animals through behavioral experiments. My current focus is primarily on areas such as memory, metacognition, and understanding of physical causal relationships.
