Associate ProfessorEnzymes are remarkable catalysts created by nature, but they generally perform only one chemical reaction for a single substrate. My research is working on synthesizing artificial functional molecules that surpass these ‘natural limitations.’ I am not only pursuing scientifically intriguing functions but also striving to create molecules with practical properties that others will find valuable and useful.
Recent Topics of Interest:
Spatiotemporal control of molecular functions
