ProfessorI am conducting research to elucidate the real surface structure of the electrodes involved in triggering electrocatalytic reactions at both the molecular and atomic levels.
Based on the insights gained from this investigation, my goal is to establish design principles for practical catalysts. These guidelines will facilitate the development of fuel cells and the initiation of water electrolysis processes targeted at hydrogen production.
Recent Topics of Interests:
Novel surface analysis technology, Fuel cells, Water electrolysis
Motto in Research or in Life: Always rising after a fall.
Hobby/Holiday:
Watching movies and live performances, Photo shooting

ProfessorI aspire to make chemistry accessible, even to junior high school students. In recent years, my focus has been on four main themes:
Exploring polymers that exhibit a gold-like color without using metals.
Researching the photochemical fixation of aerial nitrogen to create next-generation fuels from sunlight and air.
Developing electrochemical windows that can be switched between transparent and white opaque.
Investigating the chemistry of contact and frictional electrification, which remains shrouded in mystery.
Recent Topics of Interests:
Commercializing the outcomes of my current research theme.
Motto in Research or in Life:
I am researching with the aim of achieving true originality, drawing inspiration from the innovative works of Ms. Y.M.
Hobby / Holiday:
Weight training, Listening to 70's Western and new music

ProfessorA quarter of a century has passed since I obtained my Doctor of Engineering degree in 1996 and embarked on my career as a researcher. In contemporary terms, I have been engaged in research activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through collaborations with various industries, I have gained numerous learning opportunities.
Recent Topics of Interests:
Urban mine recycling, especially focused on precious metals and rare metals. Creation of a carbon-neutral society.
Motto in Research or in Life:
It's often preferable to take action and potentially fail rather than live with the regret of not having tried at all.
Hobby / Holiday:
Golf, Mahjong, Mountain Climbing. I try to make time for enjoying those hobbies as much as possible in order to extend healthy life expectancy.

ProfessorI am undertaking the challenges of creating novel energy materials, energy storage devices, resource recycling processes, and operando analysis techniques that contribute to achieving the SDGs. This involves skillfully combining the enigmatic liquid salts—ionic liquids and molten salts—composed solely of ions with common elements.
Recent Topics of Interest:
I want to contribute to society using technologies related to Planet 6.0, specifically with ionic liquids and molten salts!
Motto in Research or in Life:
Turn everything into profit. There’s got to be something!
