ProfessorFrom a Criminal Law standpoint, I conduct research in areas closely related to information and communication technology (ICT), such as cybersecurity and cybercrime. With new technologies emerging daily, novel criminal methods also develop, prompting me to explore effective legal responses. At the same time, since over-criminalization could impede technological advancement, so I strive to find a balance where both technology and law can evolve effectively and interactively.

With an engineering background and a fascination with law, I find it rewarding to develop legal theories that benefit society. Since both laws and legal interpretations are the product of human effort, I believe there is a significant similarity between engineering, which aims to create valuable things, and law.
