Professor Though liquid crystals (LCs) make people think of LC displays, my laboratory performs a wide range of LC research without limiting the subject to displays.
My goal is to develop new functionalities and applications in LC materials. To achieve this, I conduct research in LC areas such as molecular design, organic synthesis, investigation of molecular assembly states, and performance evaluation.
Recent Topics of Interests:
Developing methods for creating nano-level recording devices and nanostructures, while also searching for materials that exhibit spontaneous optically active.
Motto in Research or in Life:
Let's do what we find fun in both research and work.
Hobby / Holiday:
Spending time with my family and, occasionally, working out
