Assistant ProfessorI am conducting research on the diagnosis and treatment of fungal infections. My specific focus is on overcoming drug resistance in Aspergillus fumigatus, the causative agent of pulmonary aspergillosis, using the preserved strains (clinical isolates and environmental isolates) of the Medical Mycology Research Center, Chiba University.
