ProfessorI conduct research to contribute to health and medicine by utilizing image processing, computer vision, and virtual reality technologies. My research focuses on various areas, including the development of augmented reality (AR) technology to support high-difficulty surgical operations, computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) technology, and virtual reality (VR) technology to enhance the efficiency of medical training for doctors. Additionally, I am involved in the research and development of technology using images and optics to measure biological information, such as respiration and gaze. By collaborating with physicians from different medical specialties, I am committed to developing new technologies that can promptly address the challenges in clinical settings.
