ProfessorIn the realm of organic electronics, particularly in applications like organic EL displays, I utilize electron spectroscopy to explore the fundamental electronic structure. This involves deciphering intricate details like energy levels, electron arrangement, and packing configurations.
At the same time, my research extends to the intrinsic electrical properties of elements, aiming to enhance the performance of organic electronics through a comprehensive approach that integrates spectroscopy and elemental studies.
Engaging in multiple fields such as physics, chemistry, electronic engineering, inorganic materials, and organic materials, I pioneer unique measurement methods and devices unparalleled anywhere else in the world, thereby contributing to original research.
Beyond my research pursuits, I am actively engaged in Chiba University’s ‘Frontier Science Program,’ an academic acceleration initiative.
Recent Topics of Interests:
・Investigating the mechanism behind the spontaneous development of orientation polarization when molecules used in organic EL devices form a film
・Elucidating the mechanism that leads to the generation of frictional electricity
・Identifying the true nature of weak levels within the band gap of various materials, including inorganic, organic, and biomaterials
・Managing an academic acceleration program at Chiba University

Lecturer / Clinical Associate ProfessorI am currently conducting research aimed at unraveling the pathogenesis of uterine fibroids. Through animal experiments, I have successfully demonstrated that the simultaneous presence of sex steroid hormones, estrogen and progesterone, secreted by the ovaries, is essential for the enlargement of uterine fibroids. Furthermore, I have elucidated the mechanism by which uterine fibroids develop and expand under conditions of hypoxia.
Moving forward, my research will focus on the development of novel treatments for uterine fibroids.
